I need my Toyota serviced and prefer to go to an authorized Toyota dealer. The service fees are higher at the dealer than a place like Midas or a neighborhood shop. So I asked the dealer what incentive he could give me to bring my car to him instead of other dealers. He quickly gave me a 10% discount. Even at a 10% discount the price is still high. Any suggestions on how to get a bigger discount?

Pretend to fall down and hurt yourself a the dealer. Always good for a couple od bucks knocked off. Pretend like it really hurts.

thats what i dont understand why are you taking a toyota to a authorized toyota dealer as they will always over price you for things that can easily be done at a normal garage as they are not doing anything special its a different story when you start driving bmw, porche, farrari and high value cars like those so your just wasting your money go to a normal garage thats MTA approved

Easy-ask! If they don’t give you the price you want, go to ANY reputable shop, and save yourself some $$.-They really don’t do anything differently/better.
