The SmarterCard student discount card is available from 1st September 2009.

The SmarterCard is a one off purchase and can be used at all participating outlets nationwide, until you graduate or leave full time education.

The SmarterCard is new for the 2009/2010 academic year and availability is as follows:

August 2009
SmarterCard available to students at colleges and universities in Warwickshire (inc. University of Warwick)

September 2009
SmarterCard available to students at colleges and universities in the West Midlands (inc. Coventry University)

October 2009
SmarterCard available to students at colleges and universities in Birmingham (inc. Aston University and The University of Birmingham)

November 2009
SmarterCard available to students at colleges and universities in Nottingham (inc. the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University)

January 2010
SmarterCard available to students at colleges and universities in Manchester (inc. University of Manchester)

February 2010
SmarterCard available to students at colleges and universities in the North of England (inc. the University of Leeds and the University of Sheffield)
